This timer is not what I expected from Oxo, which usually claims to offer great functionaliy with style in their products. The timer looks good, but is almost impossible to use. The keys are soft and mushy without any click or beep when you press them, so you may have hit a key twice or not at all and since the digital display is so small you have to pick it up to see if the timer is actually running. Stay away from this unit.

This is a nice looking piece but it does not function well, and it is hard to set. You have to press the start/stop button at an exact angle in order to start the thing, and I have had multiple occasions when I thought it was set only to discover that it was not and the result being burnt food. The number buttons are too small as well, and setting the clock is a challenge I gave up on long ago. I have finally had it and will be buying a new timer today!

I usually like OXO products but this timer is unnecessarily complicated. In fact, I could not make it work. I don't need a timer that is also a clock, just a reliable timing mechanism. I returned it.

I love this timer. I have no problems setting it and once i read the directions it became even easier. I'm able to cook in both the house and outside grill without having to worry about burning the items in the house
